The 27th annual Sheldon Statewide exhibition is "Picturing Nebraska". This exhibit is on display in the Art Alcove at the Edith Abbott Memorial Library. The exhibit is from April 7 through May 7, 2014. "Picturing Nebraska" features works from the Sheldon Museum's permanent collection. Patrons of the exhibit can expect to find photographs by John Anderson, Solomon Butcher, Roger Williams, Binh Danh and Wright Morris. They will also find landscape images by Keith Jacobshagen, James Eisentrager and Karen Kunc. The works that encompass this year's Sheldon Statewide exhibit depict life on the Great Plains. The photographs, prints, paintings and quilted squares offer unique viewpoints of Nebraska.
